Plan the floor grid and equipment quantity
| Nominal LED footprint | Cabinet layout | Cabinet count | Published cabinet weight total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 × 2 m | 4 × 2 cabinets | 8 | 200 kg |
| 3 × 2 m | 6 × 2 cabinets | 12 | 300 kg |
| 4 × 3 m | 8 × 3 cabinets | 24 | 600 kg |
These examples are calculations from the published 0.5 × 1 m cabinet and 25 kg weight. They are not completed customer projects. Allow additional space and weight for supports, perimeter ramps, wiring, control equipment and installation tolerances.
The page advertises a load capacity above 2,000 kg/m². That area-based claim does not by itself authorize concentrated wheel loads or vehicle use. Ask for the applicable test evidence, support spacing and loading conditions; the venue floor and supporting system also need assessment.
Use the published protection ratings as component specifications, not as a guarantee that the complete floor is waterproof. Review front and rear exposure, connectors, drainage, cleaning methods and any raised-floor cavity before installation.
Purchase questions
Does an LED floor automatically include interactive effects?
A floor display and an interaction system are separate requirements. Ask whether sensors, tracking, content software and control hardware are included, and request a demonstration of the intended interaction before confirming the order.
What affects the LED floor screen price?
Cabinet count, pixel pitch, support arrangement, controller capacity, interaction equipment, perimeter treatment, spares and transport scope affect the quotation. Send the venue plan and intended usage so these items can be identified separately.
Which pixel pitch should a stage-floor buyer choose?
Compare content detail, closest viewing positions and camera use with actual content samples. Confirm control-system capacity and the final pixel map rather than choosing pitch only by screen area.
