HDPlayer vs HDSet: HDPlayer focuses on content programs and publishing; HDSet focuses on display configuration. Installing HDSet does not replace the content program you need in HDPlayer. A receiving card’s specification also does not make it a stand-alone media player.
Quick setup checklist
Read the exact model printed on the controller label or PCB. Record the hardware revision and existing firmware if an update is planned.
Open that model’s specification and manual in the document library below. Confirm its software and connection method.
Install the selected Windows application. Connect using the model’s supported Ethernet, Wi-Fi or USB workflow.
Back up and verify screen dimensions, module parameters, scan type and receiving-card configuration before sending a program.
If the controller is not detected, check power, the cable or Wi-Fi connection, the PC’s network segment and the connection method in the model manual. For a distorted image, recheck module parameters and the receiving-card configuration before considering a firmware update.
Huidu firmware download: C/D-card FPGA package
Firmware is device software, separate from the Windows applications above. Huidu’s official catalog supplies a shared C/D Card FPGA Firmware ZIP. It does not publish one universal firmware release that should be installed on every Huidu product.
This shared archive is offered as published by Huidu. Its catalog entry does not state a single firmware version or a complete card/driver-IC compatibility list. Confirm the exact card, hardware revision, FPGA and LED driver IC with EagerLED support before selecting a file inside the archive. Do not assume it is suitable for a different model, LCD board, receiving card or video processor.
Record the current firmware and export the display configuration/program.
Confirm the upgrade file and procedure for the exact hardware. Keep stable power and the required connection throughout the update.
After updating, verify controller detection, screen mapping, image output and playback before returning the display to service.
For firmware that is not publicly listed for your model, request model-specific firmware support with the controller model, PCB revision, current firmware and a clear hardware photo. Do not substitute the C/D FPGA archive for an unlisted model’s firmware.
Huidu software user manuals and operating instructions
Application manuals and installer versions have separate numbering. A manual labeled V3.9 is not an HDPlayer 3.9 installer. Most manuals below are English; the HD2018 and HD2020 manuals are explicitly labeled Chinese because the corresponding public English HD2020 link was unavailable during this check.

What is the difference between HDPlayer and HDSet?
HDPlayer creates and publishes content programs to supported asynchronous full-color LED controllers. HDSet configures supported LED control systems and receiving-card parameters. Their functions differ; select the application specified for your hardware and task.
Can I download Huidu software for PC or Mac?

Which software should I use for a single- or dual-color sign?
