MOONCELL FIRMWARE & SYSTEM UPDATE CHECKLIST

This is an EagerLED support checklist, not an official Mooncell firmware package.

Before requesting a firmware or system update, record:
1. Exact controller/player/receiving-card model and serial number.
2. Hardware revision shown on the device label or circuit board.
3. Current firmware/system version and a screenshot of the device information.
4. PC software or Android app family, branch and current version.
5. LED module configuration, scan mode, driver IC and cabinet connection layout.
6. The issue you need to fix and the relevant error message.

Before installation:
- Obtain a model-specific package and instructions from the supplier or Mooncell support.
- Confirm its intended hardware revision, compatible software branch and upgrade path.
- Save the receiving-card/screen configuration and a copy of the working settings.
- Use the approved connection method and stable power; do not interrupt an update.
- Follow the supplied release notes; do not rename a PC installer or APK as firmware.

The Mooncell M3 Studio PC V4 manual, section 9.4, describes System Upgrade:
verify the ZIP file against the device and install the correct files. APK Installation
is a separate option. A ZIP extension alone does not prove firmware compatibility.

Public firmware status as of 10 October 2026:
No model-specific standalone firmware package was verified in the official public
English and Chinese download catalogs reviewed. No firmware binary is bundled here.
